Ayahuasca is a traditional Amazonian plant medicine, typically made by brewing the Banisteriopsis caapi vine with Psychotria viridis leaves. It contains DMT, a psychoactive compound, activated by the vine’s MAOIs, leading to emotional, spiritual, and visual experiences. Used for centuries by Indigenous groups in South America, it is taken in ceremonial settings led by experienced facilitators. Ayahuasca is believed to facilitate deep healing, personal insight, and connection, and is now also used in some Western therapeutic settings with emphasis on preparation and integration.
Who are we?
We are a seasoned group of facilitators from South America with nearly two decades of experience working with the master plant. Our members bring rich knowledge from the Colombian Putumayo tradition and the Shipibo lineage of Peru. Guided by traditional mentors, we honor the medicine with profound respect and follow an approach rooted deeply in ancestral teachings. Alongside this, our work with Western organizations has enabled us to integrate scientific insights, ensuring safety, thorough preparation, and thoughtful integration. This synergy of tradition and modern knowledge is fundamental to our approach, supporting a transformative journey for those we guide.
