MEET THE TEAM

We are the Kunaini family, guiding our ceremonies and retreats with love and deep respect for your own inner wisdom. We’re here to support you whenever needed, though we generally allow each journeyer to move through their process without interference unless it is truly necessary or aligned with our agreements.

Our approach is rooted in live music, using shamanic and sound healing instruments, as well as our voices singing traditional icaros and medicine songs. We honor the ceremony space as a sacred opportunity to connect with the natural, organic ways of healing, embracing the ancestral legacy embedded in these ancient practices

Costanza Ayni

She embarked on her journey with psychedelics over 12 years ago, starting as a participant, then as an assistant and later began working as a psychedelic ceremonialist and educator. She has thorough training with shamans, therapists, and healers leading to her current roles. Her academic background includes studies in Bioneuroemotion, Somatic Therapy, Yoga, Breathwork, and the Psychedelic Practitioner Training from the Synthesis Institute. She is presently undertaking training in Internal Family Systems. In recent years, her focus has been on psilocybin, though she works and has experience with a range of plant medicines. In her Breathwork Sessions she foster the participant embodied connection to awaken the inner wisdom and facilitate healing.

Having completed an in-depth master plant dieta with Noya Rao, she initially
embraced the Shipibo tradition from Peru in her shamanic practices. Over time,
she has developed her own unique approach, deeply rooted in her South American
heritage and personal path. Her facilitation style combines ancient wisdom
methods with cognitive therapeutic techniques from the West to produce powerful
transformational experiences. When singing in ceremony, Costanza places
emphasis on the healing potential of music. Her goal is to serve as a bridge for
people seeking to start or continue their own journeys of self-discovery; creating
safe spaces so others can engage in their psychedelic healing experiences feeling
supported and empowered.

Juan Tepui

Originally from Venezuela, Juan Tepui developed a passion for music at an early age. He studied guitar under the renowned Emilio Mendoza, a respected mentor in South American folk music. Juan also trained with various flute masters, including Eduardo Soto, Hari Prasad Chaurasia, and Madhav Haridas. He later completed a degree in music production in the UK, where his understanding of music deepened, as did his interest in the influence of psychedelics and sound on human consciousness.

Juan’s journey into shamanic practices began with his curiosity about Ayahuasca. He became an apprentice to Taita Carlos Pulido from Colombia, learning the sacred ways of plant medicine over several years. As he continued his path, Juan became intrigued by the power of Eastern music and meditation, prompting him to travel to India. There, he immersed himself in meditation practices across various ashrams and studied Indian classical music under the guidance of esteemed masters.

Juan Tepui believes deeply in the power of music, meditation, and plant medicines to foster spiritual evolution. Guided by the wisdom of these sacred plants and disciplined Eastern practices, he views psychedelic experiences as inspiration for daily practices of mindfulness, compassion, and dedication. Through integrating these teachings, Juan believes we can evolve as individuals, find success in our life purposes, and contribute positively to the world.
